After a decade in tech sales at Microsoft, I took what I thought would be a short sabbatical. This break turned into a year-long adventure from Cairo to Cape Town: 14 countries, endless bus rides, and countless conversations with local Bitcoin communities. And through it all, I realized something: traveling with Bitcoin isn’t easy.
As a traveller like you, I know how much we crave authentic experiences; meeting locals, discovering hidden gems, and feeling connected to the places we visit. But when I tried to spend Bitcoin on the road, it was tough to find trusted tour operators or communities who actually preferred it. That’s when the idea for Travel with Bitcoin was born.
Today, I’m building a global network of travel hosts and community leaders who prefer Bitcoin, so travellers can spend more easily while also supporting local businesses. I also design curated events and Bitcoin offsites for corporations, creating spaces where people can connect, share ideas, and enjoy once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
